Field Service Lead (Project Management)

Job Description
The Field Service Technician Lead is responsible for testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading electrical equipment. This position works in the field as well as the shop and will be subjected to weekend work, frequent overtime during outage season, and some overnight travel. The lead role is also responsible for overseeing junior technicians and implementing our company's guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Work directly with customers to help determine needs of testing and maintenance.
Assist customer with planning scheduled maintenance/testing work.
Lead technicians in the field. Act as project foreman
Provide testing and maintenance services to customer's electrical equipment.
Read schematics and possessing the ability to troubleshoot using schematics is a plus.
Be able to operate all aspects of test equipment (Megger, Ductor, Power Factor, TTR, AC/DC HIPot, etc.).
Terminate and splice medium voltage cables.
Help maintain test equipment and make sure equipment is in working order.
