Theater Technician-Chesterfield YMCA (Creative Design)

Actively Promote theatre safety and policies Build and repair props and sets as needed Build and paint sets and props as needed for Y-rep shows and client rental functions Supervise and assist clients during scheduled periodic rentals Will operate sound and lighting equipment as needed and assist the client in any other aspects of production. Will arrive prior to client arrival to insure the facility is unlocked and needed equipment is set up and ready for use Supervise volunteer crew of all ages during set builds and work calls Keep backstage and storage areas clean Set up and tear down and move sets and props as needed for daily theatre operations Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed. Positively interact with members, staff and volunteers. Performs all other duties as assigned.
