The Mortgage Warehouse team is growing, and we are seeking a Lending Specialist to provide excellent customer care to our clients. As a Lending Specialist, you will fulfill transactions related to processing outgoing and incoming wires and collateral tracking. This client-facing role requires effective written communication, attention to detail, accuracy, and a sense of urgency to be successful.
What You'll Do
Monitor the incoming wire queue and process outgoing wire requests within the established SLA per the client's approved product parameters described in the Credit Approval
Evaluate required documents, approve initial and subsequent draw requests, and sweep funds to the client's operating account; monitor reports to ensure the client does not exceed the construction sub-limit
Apply incoming wires, research unidentified incoming wires, and calculate the daily amount for sweeps to the clients operating account
Collateral management including intake and entry of incoming Notes into the system, inventory, process request to ship the Notes; weekly reporting and status update for wet Notes
Post the net of incoming and outgoing wires in the system at the end of each business day and allocate the balances to participating banks in the Bank's system of record and business application
Generate monthly invoices, bill clients, and sweep payments from clients' accounts; produce a monthly Board Reporting package shared with the Bank's Board of Directors
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' banking experience with strong knowledge of account opening, commercial loan servicing a plus
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High level of organization and time-management with keen attention to detail and the ability to respond quickly to changes in priorities and tasks
Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Word; familiarity with FIS, Salesforce, and/or ACBS a plus
Knowledge and understanding of various loan documents, banking processing standards, best practices, and audit control procedures

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $50,000-$70,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
