There is a place for you at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health!Highland Rivers provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness; substance use disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities.Are you ready to make a Difference?JOB SUMMARY:The CPS participates as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment court team modeling recovery to the individuals in the Cherokee County Veterans Treatment Court. They provide participants with information, support and encouragement from the perspective of lived experience. They assist in coordinating and organizing delivery of treatment including developing and facilitating skill building group sessions.Duties and Responsibilities include:
Attends scheduled court appearance and treatment team staffing, providing updates and advocating for Veterans.
Represents Highland Rivers Behavioral Health to the community at large and becomes a resource for community stakeholders needing information about services.
Links individuals to needs resources and services within and external to Highland Rivers.
Facilitates groups, provides case management and skill building sessions to assist individuals in meeting their recovery goals and obtain needed resources within their community.
Completes documents in the electronic health record according to service guidelines and policy.
Models recovery and supports participants through all phases of treatment.
Maintains monthly reports for the program.
Other duties as assigned.
