F5, Inc. seeks Engineer III in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Design and implement major components of products. Evaluate performance of products; tune, re-evaluate the design and implementation of current source code. Collaborate with team members and technical leads. Research, investigate and define new areas of technology to enhance existing products or new product directions. Document software designs via functional specifications and other design documents. Conduct presentations internal and external. Performs other related duties as assigned. Review other team members' code changes and providing constructive feedback. Serve as a subject expert matter on BIG-IP Next Instantiation, Onboarding, and Discovery from BIG-IP Next Central Manager and BIG-IP Next HA (High Availability) Management from BIG-IP Next Central Manager. Use security best practices and meeting all security requirements for new Product Features. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 offices may be required.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: One (1) year of experience using the following: (1) Golang, (2) Java, (3) HTML, (4) CSS, (5) JavaScript, (6) Python, (7) Cypress, (8) NodeJS, (9) GRPC; (10) Postgres; (11) ReactJS; (12) Terraform. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 offices may be required.
