Use your expertise in human resources and business to support and drive success for a team of outstanding members at our production facility in Watertown, Wisconsin. Responsibilities:
Manage the Member Services function with a focus on hiring and retaining members committed to making the best sausage in the world
Be a proactive steward of our culture with a focus on "Staying Johnsonville" and supporting our values.
Facilitate resolution of member relations issues. Coach and influence others to make timely decisions using sound leadership practices, Johnsonville guidelines and legal considerations
Administer and continuously improve programs around pay, performance and the workplace that identify and reinforce the key behaviors that drive the Johnsonville Way
Act as a strategic advisor to leadership to ensure the right Member Services (HR) strategies are in place to help meet goals and objectives
Drive workforce planning initiatives to ensure the organization has the right talent in place to support current and future business needs across all sites
Develop retention strategies to promote member engagement, reduce turnover, and foster positive member experience
Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate HR metrics and trends to senior leadership
Use input from our members to improve the quality of work life as seen by our members
Use the Johnsonville Way to coach directly and indirectly
Perform all duties related to the Human Resources role
Education:
Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of related work experience required
HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or PHR, preferred
Experience:
3-5 years of progressive HR experience, required
Experience leading and supporting strategic initiatives, influencing others, and driving results, required
Prior plant operations experience is required
Written and verbal Spanish skills are preferred
