Sr. ERP Business Systems Analyst (Biotech)

Lonza in Vacaville is hiring a Senior ERP Business System Analyst to manage the production master data lifecycle, ensuring compliance across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance. This role involves maintaining SAP Master Data Objects, optimizing data structures, and supporting global SAP projects.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and external collaborators to implement the production master data lifecycle in SAP, (MM, PP, QM, LE) from design, develop, deploy, maintain, optimize, audit, and retire.
Maintain a high-level understanding of business processes and systems within and outside the ERP system landscape to ensure SAP data domain compliance and alignment.
Build, mature, maintain, and retire SAP Master Data Objects related to production and Quality Data, including Material Masters, Recipes, Bill of Materials, and more.
Improve data structure quality and supply chain process efficiency by studying current practices and recommending SAP data structure modifications.
Lead and support local and global SAP projects, participate in user acceptance testing, and provide user requirements review and input.
Proactively identify and solve problems related to written procedures, business process instructions, workflows, and training materials to maintain Operational Excellence.
Collect, analyze, and summarize data information and trends to prepare technical reports for production and supply chain collaborators.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning, formal training, and certifications.
Key requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, computer science, or equivalent experience preferred.
Extensive GMP experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment.
Experience with computer-based systems in a validated environment.
Ability to coordinate large sets of electronic data in spreadsheets and databases and apply Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

As required by law in this state, the quoted salary range for this position is $124,000-$210,000. We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities; while also allowing for differentiation on performance based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at the company between the lower and the middle part of the applicable range. We tailor our offers within the range based on job-related factors, including organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic area and the selected candidate's experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and/or communication skills and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. This range is only inclusive of base salary, and base pay is just one component of Lonza's total compensation package for employees.
