Role: Journeyman Instrumentation Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of process measurement devices and equipment in a real-time process environment. The work accomplished shall ensure safe and reliable operation in the facilities. Responsibilities: Perform the installation, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of both pneumatic and electronic instrumentation equipment such as pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, density, flow meters, and continuous monitoring systems in a real time industrial environment in a safe reliable manner. Candidate should be able to read and understand drawings such as P&IDs, control loop diagrams, and electrical schematics. A successful candidate should be able to install instrument tubing and conduit or raceways according to approved methods and in a workman like manner. Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations on I&C analytical systems and equipment as required to ensure production uptime. Candidate should be proficient in the installation and maintenance of automatic control valves as required. Candidate must be familiar with the proper usage of both electronic measurement equipment (VOM, Process Meters, Calibrators, Etc.) and trade specific hand tools.
