Job Overview
If you are results-driven and motivated to be the best in the industry, PACS is looking for you! We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive S killed N ursing F acility (SNF) billing professional to join our AR Billing Support team at PACS! This exciting and rewarding role will provide comprehensive billing support to SNF s across multiple states and regions. This role is essential to ensure the smooth transition of billing for facilities that are new to working with PACS as well as comprehensive assistance to locations that require Accounts Receivable assistance and claims resolution .
Responsibilities
- A ccurate and timely submi ssion of claims for Skilled Nursing Facilit ies (SNF) to all payers including Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and Managed Care Insurances.
- Payment posting and e nsuring a ccurate and timely payment from all payers.
- Adherence to all relevant regulations , policies, and billing guidelines .
- F ollowing up on outstanding claims and resolving any billing discrepancies .
- Meeting all performance goals.
- Provid ing assistance to other staff for training purposes and claim resolution.
- O ther duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or higher in Accounting , Finance , or related field preferred. HS diploma or GED required .
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Insurances.
- Knowledge of state and federal SNF billing regulations and guidelines.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines while achieving performance goals.
- Must have ability to critically think through problems for resolution.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a team-player and willing to assist others when needed.
Experience
- 1+ years of SNF billing experience.
- PointClickCare experience preferred.
- Experience with the Microsoft suite of programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
