Desktop Support Administrator (Information Technology)

What You'll Do:

As a key member of the IT support team, the Desktop Support Administrators provide comprehensive technical support to maintain the company's PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment. They troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering on-site, desk-side, and remote end-user support.
  • Logging and managing service requests, resolving issues within defined protocols, and escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Tracking hardware, coordinating maintenance, upgrades, and configurations.
  • Monitoring trends in incidents, maintaining documentation, and contributing to the knowledge base.
  • Assisting with PC and network administration while ensuring effective communication with management and end-users.

Who We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associates degree in Computer Science or closely related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years working with or administering commercial service desk ticketing software such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
  • 1-3 years IT desktop support, network, server and business application administration or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager deploying software, desktop image builds, and configuration preferred.
