Position Summary — The Table Games Dealer is responsible for dealing all table games offered by Grand Lake Casino.
Essential Functions — An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Accurately deal all table games offered by Grand Lake Casino.
Pay winnings and collect losing bets as established by the rules and procedures for a specific game.
Open and close games.
Perform fills and credits for games.
Inspect cards and equipment that will be used in games to ensure that they are in good condition.
Promote positive customer service relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
Comply with all policies, procedures, and rules for table games.
Adhere to the strict confidentiality of all information.
Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. and must be able to pass a live audition and/or math test.
Customer service and dealing experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of table games rules and regulations.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with fellow team members, management, and guests.
Ability to work well under pressure and time.
Ability to multitask and work as part of the team.
Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Other Requirements — Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license and a state issued I.D. All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to beginning employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements — Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, have good hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
Work Environment — Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol-free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust, noise, and bright flashing lights.
Special Working Conditions — Position requires flexibility to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
