Sheeter Operator (weekend shift) (Media)
The Sheeter Operator will be responsible for efficiently setting-up, operating and performing preventative maintenance to a Sheeter in accordance with manufacturing orders (MO) and the production schedule. Compliance with company operating, safety and housekeeping procedures, practices, and policies.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
High School or trade school graduate or equivalent GED. Able to read and write; able to understand policies, manufacturing orders (MOs), Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), and other work instructions. Basic math and computer skills. Able to effectively communicate for collaboration of work and delivery of supplies to and from machine as needed. Excellent mechanical ability and manual dexterity. Must be able to work standing or walking most of the workday and able to frequently lift 45+ pounds. Able to work with sharp tools and wear hearing protection as required. High visual effort will be required to ensure print appearance and ink color match.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Set-up, operate, and adjust Sheeter equipment to Manufacturing Order (MO) and Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) and the production schedule needs. Inspects product for size, appearance, count, and other requirements to ensure product meets quality specifications. Assists maintenance teams with preventative and production maintenance and escalates machine issues through production supervisor to ensure operational success. Reads and understands Manufacturing Orders (MO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), as well as understanding and following company policies and procedures as well and other written or verbal instructions. Notifies supervisor in advance if there is a shortage of paper, rolls, cases, etc. Organizes and maintains a clean and safe work environment to establish standards, productivity levels, housekeeping, 5S, and safety requirements. Able to effective communication and work as a part of a team. Other duties as assigned.
Applicants must be comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Hearing protection and steel toed shoes are required. Safety, hygiene and cleanliness is strictly enforced. Applicants must be able to engage in periods of long standing and walking, and perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Compensation Range: $18.17 - $22.21 per hour, consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based onthe skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position. ACR reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
