Associate Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist, Football (Healthcare)
The Associate Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist - Football, under the medical- legal supervision of the head team physician, the head athletic trainer, and director of rehabilitation with direct primary responsibility to Football, is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, management and rehabilitation of injury and illness within the University's comprehensive athletic medicine program, with primary responsibility to Football; empowered with the authority to determine management and return to play of any ill or injured athlete, or modify any workout for health and safety reasons, as he or she deems appropriate. A focus on collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure positive culture and student-athlete performance and well-being.
