Housekeeping Houseperson - Hilton Vancouver Washington (Finance)

Featuring 226 rooms, the hotel is within walking distance to the gorgeous waterfront as well as to local bustling attractions such as the Vancouver Farmers Market (directly across the street front he hotel!), making us an excellent base for both leisure and business travel.
What will I be doing?
As a Housekeeping Houseperson, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Empty Room Attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
- Assist Room Attendants with stripping bedding.
- Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers. Deliver items to guest room upon request. Assist in picking up dirty glasses and delivering clean glasses.
- Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
- Greet guests in a friendly manner.
- Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed
The hourly rate for this position is $20.91 (based on applicable and specialized experience and location)
