Coordinator, Shipping: 1st shift (Finance)
Position Summary:
This position supports the shipping of products to customers. Specifically, overseeing communication with suppliers, customer service, and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Position Responsibilities :
- Utilize logistics software to optimize shipping and transport procedures.
- Check in and out logistic companies utilizing BOL and packing slips, load #s, trailer #s and location of shipments
- Check loaded product to ensure they are properly secured for transport.
- Check in delivery of chassis and check out of completed chassis using the assigned paperwork.
- Track shipments and resolving any delays or other issues that may arise.
- Manage number of vehicles on our property for various departments.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing their inquiries and complaints.
- Ensure compliance with safety and legal guidelines, standards and regulations in all shipping and transportation processes.
Position Qualifications & Requirements:
Education / Certifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience: (examples below)
- Entry level Tier 1 = 0 - 2 years' experience
Skills and Abilities:
- Experience in customer service
- Ability to work with little supervision and able to track multiple processes
- Detail oriented including organization and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication
Work environment :
- Fast paced manufacturing environment
- Non-controlled temperatures
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
- Frequent bending, standing, crouching, walking, use of hands & arms
- Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE)
