Pull up a chair and join us! Blizzard Entertainment is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Associate Technical Director to join an unannounced project. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making video games while building and maintaining an engineering team with great technical vision.

Responsibilities
In our fast-paced environment, priorities can often change. Therefore, this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Build a team of high talented engineers and develop their skills to the next level.
- Help manage the delivery of key milestones to ensure game development stays on track.
- Partner across Blizzard to drive alignment and execution for the game.
- Establish a clear architectural vision and guide the team towards excellence.
- Review technical designs and give guidance to the engineering group.
- Develop exceptional incident management processes, including personally driving operations as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven track record in building and guiding a diverse engineering team to deliver high-quality production software, specifically games.
- Self-motivation and willingness to pitch in on any areas of game development.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in effectively communicating with team members across all fields.
- Experience with the Unity engine.
- Knowledgeable in content pipelines for game development and automation/orchestration.
- Solid understanding of distributed backend services for online operations.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $155,500.00 - $287,876.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
