Inventory Control, 1st Shift - County Materials (Finance)
Monitors and maintains min/max stocking inventory levels, pre-receiving of orders as required, and investigates problems
Records purchases, maintains the database, performs a physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports
Resolves purchasing order entry ticket discrepancies.
Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
Operate a sit-down forklift to move products within the outdoor storage yard.
Establishes stocking levels on manufactured items.
Communicate effectively with Team Members from other departments.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
Office working environment. - 50%
Outside working environment. - 50%
Physical Requirements:
Sitting frequently.
Standing / Walking / Climbing.
Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequently.
Experience & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-3 years of inventory control experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
1 year of forklift operation experience.
Moderate computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and inventory control management systems.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
