DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Software Developer II in Waynesboro, VA. What You'll have the Opportunity to do:
Create and maintain software in the Angular and .NET frameworks.
Build web interfaces and services connecting to both internal and external APIs and databases.
Write database queries, stored procedures, triggers, and ELT processes for Microsoft SQL Server.
Work with Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to plan software solutions.
Collaborate with different teams in an agile scrum environment.
Assist with determining technical requirements for software solutions, including the front end, service, and database tiers.
Perform regression testing, write unit tests, and facilitate user acceptance testing.
Create end user and developer documentation.
Understand and comply with the department's development standards.
What You'll Bring to the Table
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3 – 5 years of experience as a professional software developer.
Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration ability.
Experience with the following:
.NET and Angular frameworks.
Database development, especially on Microsoft SQL Server.
Visual Studio, VS Code, and SQL Server Management Studio.
Coding with TypeScript, C#, T-SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Familiarity with git repository management.
Familiarity with agile scrum project management.
Familiarity with cloud development and DevOps practices preferred.
Security-first development mindset.
.NET, Angular, Azure, and/or SQL Server certifications preferred.
