Food and Beverage Attendant - Tempo New York Times Square (Finance)

The Tempo New York Times Square is looking for a Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team.

Designed by WATG and Mancini Duffy, this stunning property will feature 661 rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering views of the city and lights of Times Square. The sky lobby, located on the 11th floor, includes communal working spaces as well as a fitness centre and hydration station. Dining venues will comprise a restaurant with menu items "fit for fueling for the day ahead", a bar and lounge offering small plates with craft beverages, and an outdoor dining terrace overlooking Times Square.

The ideal candidate will have previous food and beverage experience, open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a background in similar sized properties.

Shift Pattern: Full availability is needed for this role

Pay Range : $29.98 - $39.97 / hour

What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you would be responsible for preparing and replenishing food and beverage service in the Executive Lounge to deliver an excellent guest experience and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Complete opening and closing side work to include, but not limited to, stocking chinaware, silverware and tableware, tending to the coffee machine and/or grinder, retrieving food and beverages from the kitchen and delivering them to the Executive Lounge
• Retrieve and store chinaware, silverware and tableware
• Restock, clean and prepare the kitchen
• Organize and display breakfast and move chairs and tables as needed
• Display the bar according to established standards including, but not limited to, retrieving ice, cutting condiments, setting bottles, etc.
• Monitor inventory and ensure quality condition of all chinaware, tableware and silverware
• Respond to guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
