Journeyman Electrician (Construction)
Job Summary
In the journeyman electrician role, you will perform electrical work and inspection on wiring, fixtures, outlets, and other electrical components including on industrial machinery and equipment. You will replace and repair electrical equipment and devices as required. You must maintain a deep understanding of building code regulations to check and ensure compliance with the highest standards of building design and construction. Success in this role will be demonstrated by employing effective process controls to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated starting pay range for the journeyman electrician is $24.78 to $33.00. Candidates with a master electrician license would be eligible for a higher starting rate. Compensation will be based on a number of factors such as experience, knowledge, licensure, etc.
