Staffing Coordinator - Ahwatukee Post Acute (Healthcare)
Job Summary:
Ahwatukee Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and organized Staffing Coordinator to join our team. The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling nursing staff, ensuring adequate coverage, and assisting with recruitment efforts. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations and providing high-quality patient care by ensuring the facility is appropriately staffed at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure proper coverage across all shifts.
- Monitor staff attendance, manage call-offs, and coordinate shift replacements as needed.
- Communicate schedule updates and staffing needs with department heads and leadership.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff members.
- Maintain accurate records of employee schedules, time off requests, and payroll-related data.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal staffing regulations.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding scheduling inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to optimize workforce efficiency.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
- CNA license and ability to assist on the floor is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in healthcare staffing or scheduling is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in scheduling software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and healthcare regulations is a plus.
