Integrated Math III Instructor (Education)

The Soulsville Charter School (TSCS) is seeking candidates for the role of 11th Grade Integrated Math III teacher.
After beginning in 2005 with sixty sixth graders, TSCS currently has 650+ students enrolled in 6th-12th grades. The school celebrates 100% college acceptance and matching to the postsecondary option of students' choice for each of its thirteen graduating classes. Located in Memphis, Tennessee, the school has been recognized over the years as one of the most effective charter schools in its district and the state. Located on a unique campus that also houses The Stax Museum of American Soul Music and the Stax Music Academy, TSCS is a vital partner in the effort to impact individuals, a neighborhood, and a city.

REPORTS TO: SCHOOL DIRECTOR
POSITION: The Soulsville Charter School, full-time regular exempt
MISSION: The Soulsville Charter School will prepare students for success in college and life in an academically rigorous, music-rich environment.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Classroom Teacher has the primary responsibility for providing direct service to students, consulting with other professionals, and consulting and discussing issues with parents. The teacher plans, delivers, and evaluates instructional outcomes and conducts the research needed to perform the essential functions of the position.
