Job Description Summary:

  • D&G is seeking a highly talented Cloud Engineer with experience in design, management, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure . The Cloud Engineer will be part of a multi-functional team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency R&D Applied Research & Testing Emergency Technologies (ARTET) Program. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the Department of Defense in early-stage adoption of emerging and disruptive technologies. This is an outstanding opportunity to be a part of a team responsible for piloting and prototyping innovative logistics research solutions to sustain warfighter readiness and lethality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems .
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices .
  • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security .
  • Identify , analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues .
  • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements .
  • Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs .

Requirements:
  • 7 years of work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • 5-7 years of experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • 2 years of experience with AWS user, security, and networking configurations
  • 4-5 years of experience scripting in Python or Bash or comparable language
  • 3 years of experience scripting against AWS CLI
  • 2-3 years of experience with enterprise CI/CD

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Certifications:DoD 8570 IAT Level II

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • DoD or DLA experience

Location:
  • HYBRID: one (1) day a week on average at the Defense Logistics Agency Headquarters Office (8725 John J Kingman Rd, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060). The remaining work may be conducted remotely.

Pay Range: $160,000 - $175,000 per year Apply Salary Minimum: 160000Salary Maximum: 175000
