Functional Onboarding Analyst (Finance)

Primary Purpose of Position:
We are seeking a junior-level Associate Functional Analyst to support the onboarding, governance, and audit processes for Charles River IMS (CRIMS) and Wealth Hub applications. This role will focus on client coordination, application configuration, SaaS governance, and documentation, audit participation, working closely with multiple teams to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance with internal governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Client Coordination & Onboarding
• Act as a primary liaison between clients and internal teams to facilitate smooth onboarding to CRIMS and Wealth Hub applications.
• Gather and document client requirements related to application configuration, setup, and operational workflows.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure alignment on governance, security, and compliance during the onboarding process.
• Assist in defining and maintaining onboarding best practices and governance standards.
Application Configuration & Governance
• Support user administration and access control for CRIMS and Wealth Hub applications during initial Onboarding.
• Review and document application configurations and setup to ensure adherence to governance policies.
• Work in application configuration and setup for client's setup with 3rd party vendors ( e.g. Bloomberg, ICE, Cassini etc. ) and document the connectivity options.
• Assist in defining interface/integration configurations and coordinate testing efforts with internal teams.
• Support periodic audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to SaaS governance frameworks.
• Involve in State Street/CRD audits and work with internal and external auditors for different audit certifications.
• Involved in preparation of CRIMS and Wealth Hub new releases and internal documentation for the SaaS teams.
Documentation & Process Improvement
• Maintain comprehensive documentation on application setup, governance policies, and audit requirements.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing audit reports and supporting compliance initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding and governance processes through automation and best practices.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of documentation and governance frameworks.
• Build internal processes, procedure around tools, documentation and circulate them for the team.
• Work with CRD Academy and build/enhance courses for the internal SaaS teams.
• Work on defining new workflows in Service Now and Salesforce for internal and external consumption.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in application support, client coordination, or business analysis in a SaaS, financial services ( Charles River, Bloomberg etc. ), or technology environment.
• Exposure to SaaS governance, audit processes, or compliance frameworks is a plus.
Technical & Functional Skills
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts (MS SQL Server preferred).
• Basic understanding of cloud environments (Microsoft Azure preferred).
• Knowledge of authentication protocols such as Active Directory, SFTP, LDAP, SAML, or Single Sign-On is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, HTML and basic java scripts, SharePoint, Jira/Confluence etc.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to break down complex processes into simple, structured workflows.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior professional to gain hands-on experience in SaaS governance, client onboarding, and financial application support, while working closely with cross-functional teams in a cloud-based environment.
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $115,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
