Your Next Career Opportunity – Mergers & Acquisitions Intern
Support the office in general. Implement administrative policies alone or with other team members, performing the following duties.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
Gain Comprehensive M&A Process Knowledge: Learn and actively participate in SBA's end-to-end M&A process, from initial evaluation to final transaction closure.
Source acquisition opportunities through various government, communications, and real estate online databases.
Gathering data and conducting guided research and analysis.
Assist with Legal Document Preparation and Review: Collaborate with M&A attorneys and Paralegals to review, draft, and organize legal documents related to transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support Financial Due Diligence: Work alongside M&A financial analysts to analyze and verify income and expense data for potential acquisitions, contributing to the evaluation and due diligence processes.
Facilitate Vendor Payment Processes: Help establish and coordinate vendor setup to ensure seamless payment processing for third-party vendors and transaction sellers.
Develop Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills: Engage with legal, financial, and operational teams to support transaction execution and build a strong foundation in M&A practices.
What You'll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
H.S. Diploma/GED plus College Degree-seeking student; or recent graduate and <1 year relevant experience.
