General Foreman Electrical (Finance)
Primary responsibilities include installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing the electrical equipment in all plant areas. Please note that while this is a straight day position; staying late or reporting for breakdowns and working overtime is required.
Qualifications and skills required for the position include but are not limited to:
Ability and commitment to work safely.
One (1) year electrical experience to include Substations, Switchgear, Powerflex 7000, VFD's, 4160 motors and other plant systems.
Must have electrical experience in the plant area to include the loadouts, blending, TOS, Truck Dumps, and prep plant areas; preference will be given to those with Plant Electrical Experience.
Prefer experience in: design, installation, trouble-shooting, and repairing electrical systems and circuits.
MSHA certification (low, medium, and high voltage).
Have experience installing, programming and trouble-shooting PLC's - specifically Allen Bradley PLC systems.
Have experience in installing electrical circuits, services and controls in industrial applications in accordance with CFR 30 and the NEC.
Experienced in installing, repairing and maintaining high voltage equipment, (transformers, powerline, trail cable, breakers and sub-stations). This also includes repair, installation and trouble-shooting on overcurrent relays, under voltage relays, ground detection relays and ground monitor relays.
Have experience in repairing and removing motors, DC generators, capacitors and transformers. (Change out rotors, field coils, armatures and bearings).
Experience troubleshooting the different control systems on mobile mining equipment (DL, Shovels, Electric Trucks, Loaders)
Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
