Food Runner (Finance)

Job Description Summary

A Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers quickly and accurately. They act as a bridge between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring a smooth and timely food service.

Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers in a timely manner.
- Assist servers in providing outstanding guest experiences.
- Ensure accuracy in the presentation and delivery of dishes.
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
- Assist in the clearing of dishes and resetting tables as needed.
- Help with any additional duties as required by the kitchen or serving staff.
- Relay important messages between kitchen staff and servers, such as order modifications or food availability.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure food is handled properly.

### **Skills & Qualifications:**
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and carrying heavy trays.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is a plus, but not required.

### **Working Conditions:**
- Fast-paced environment, primarily in dining and kitchen areas.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
