The Loan Documentation Administrator II position is responsible for the review of attorney prepared documents for complex and multi-million dollar Middle Market commercial loan transactions including option based pricing loans, Swaps, Syndications, Participations,
First Insurance transactions, Capital Markets, Capital Call Lines, Leveraged Loan Transactions, Institutional loans, Government and Municipal lending, Franchise lending, Wintrust Business Credit monitored loans, International transactions and commercial real estate transactions.
Additionally this position reviews same transactions post-closing ensuring that all due diligence and executed loan documents are present, identify trailing documentation exceptions and prepare the file for Servicing
What you'll do:
The Senior Loan Documentation Administrator position is responsible for managing the Loan Documentation team workflow and enforcing consistent, standard processes and procedures for both Laser Pro and the review of attorney prepared documents for complex and multi-million dollar Middle Market commercial loan transactions including option based pricing loans, Swaps, Syndications, Participations, First Insurance transactions, Capital markets, Capital Call Lines, Leveraged Loan Transactions, Institutional loans, Government and Municipal lending, Franchise lending, Wintrust Business Credit monitored loans, International transactions and commercial real estate transactions. Additionally, the Senior Loan Documentation Administrator will assist the team members with questions, issues, etc.as they arise and provide assistance with answers or complete research necessary to provide accurate information. The Senior Loan Documentation Administrator is also expected to complete HEAT tickets for daily work as needed.
Job Duties:
Manage the daily workflow for the Loan Documentation team and assist in the development of consistent provisions and language for Laser Pro documents for complex Middle Market lending transactions. These transactions will tend to be of an extremely complex nature as well as loans of a larger dollar amount.
Provide specialized guidance to documentation staff whenever questions arise around individual loan transactions. Contact counsel as needed to assist in the same.
Quality control review of Laser Pro documentation packages prepared by the team for accuracy before being forwarded to the lending staff.
Review complex attorney prepared documents for Middle Market lending groups ensuring that the structure of the loan can be accommodated on the ACBS loan system. Develop processes and procedures around the same.
Prepare Laser Pro documentation as backup for regular team members as driven by daily workflow volume.
Communicate effectively with documentation preparation staff regarding any issues, questions or additional information needed during the documentation preparation and/or attorney review stage to ensure that Loan Operations and the lending staff are working together to meet borrower needs.
Seek guidance of Bank's Chief Credit Officers at appropriate times to assist in clarification of loan transactions.
Identify and complete training opportunities for the documentation staff as well as the Collateral staff.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience reviewing very complex and high dollar commercial and commercial real estate loan transactions as well as specialized lending transactions.
Strong understanding of commercial lending concepts and experience dealing with commercial lending staff to discuss same. Background in commercial documentation law highly desirable.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of collateral perfection requirements, commercial loan documents, corporate credit policy, approval levels, the workings of a larger loan operations group and some basic loan accounting knowledge and audit controls.
Wide experience level of commercial real estate and the more complex workings of real estate lending and working with title companies.
Superior communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to partner with Middle Market commercial lenders and support staff to ensure that transactions are completed satisfying both Bank requirements and customer expectations.
Ability to determine appropriate level of flexibility in procedures and policies to assist lenders in closing loan transactions. Strong use of common sense approach to assisting lending staff.
Basic knowledge of Laser Pro.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is $50,000--$75,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
