Software Engineering Senior Advisor - Evernorth Health Services -Hybrid (Finance)
Responsibilities:
Design and develop consolidated, conformed complex application development for healthcare system. Operate as the principal designer for major systems with moderate complexity and their subsystems utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs. Provide subject matter expertise to define, refine requirements and specifications pertaining to Home Delivery and Specialty Pharmacy Systems. Participate in delivery of a definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via analytics and reporting. Provide thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Design software application solutions based on detailed application requirements, as well as define data structures and data sources to satisfy the application solution, and work with architects, developers, customer representatives, and project managers to ensure that application solutions meet requirements. Estimate, plan, design, develop, test, implement, and conduct requirement analysis for development projects and devise new business strategies and requirements. Hybrid work schedule.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience as a software engineer, software/application architect, or closely related role. Must have experience with: Programing languages: Java, J2EE, Python, XML, XSLT, JSON and COBOL; RDBMS: IBM DB2 and Oracle; OLTS: Customer Information and Control System (CICS), Web services, Web support, Restful APIs; Operating Systems (OS): MS Windows, IBM zOS; Software version controllers: ENDEVOR, GitHub; Software Development Tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ and ISPF; Testing and Monitoring tools: SoapUI, IBM debugger, Xpeditor and Postman; Amazon Web Services, OpenShift; VSAM, QMF, Spufi, SQL.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
